Specialists you hire

A team of AI specialists you can hire

Hire AI employees for marketing, sales, finance, legal, software, design and more. Mention one in a room, a channel or a direct message, or assign it a Tracker item, and it answers as itself, asks before it changes anything, and stays inside a monthly spend cap.

The catalogue

Ten templates, hired the way you hire people

Your organisation hires from ten templates: marketing, sales, finance, accounting, legal, software, web, design, data and project management. Tweak how one works, give it your own instructions, and let it go when you no longer need it.

  • Hire from ten templates, tweak them, or fire them
  • Each starts with its own approach and the tools its job needs
  • Your organisation's instructions can be added to any of them

Where they work

Ask them where you already are

@mention an AI employee in room chat, a direct message, a channel or the floor chat and it answers there. Assign it a Tracker item, or comment on one, and it works on the item and hands it back to you with its result.

  • Room chat, direct messages, channels and the floor chat
  • Assigned Tracker items come back with a comment
  • Files it makes are attached to its replies

What they know

Notes per place, and the meetings you can read

An AI employee keeps memory notes for the places it works, so it does not start cold each time. In a direct message it can read the transcripts and minutes of meetings you have access to, which makes it a good first stop for what was decided.

  • Memory notes kept per place
  • Meeting transcripts and minutes, in a direct message
  • Web research with sources, opt-in per template
How AI meetings work

Boundaries

They ask first, and the organisation sets the limit

An AI employee has no access of its own. It can do only what the person who asked could do, and each change waits behind the same approval card as Deskly. The owner sets a monthly spend cap for the whole organisation and switches the module on.

  • Approval cards before changes, with sending, sharing, deleting and settings always asking
  • An organisation monthly spend cap, set by the owner
  • Replies labelled as AI, with who asked

Approvals

The same choices as Deskly

Allow once, Always allow or Never, per kind of change. The kinds that can be remembered are the everyday ones; the risky ones always ask.

  • Allow once, Always allow or Never
  • Risky changes always ask
  • Each change shown before it happens

Questions about AI employees

How do I get AI employees?

They are an organisation module. An owner switches the module on, and then your organisation hires the specialists it wants from the catalogue of ten templates.

Do they join calls?

No. They work in text, in chat and on Tracker items. They do not sit in seats, hear the room or speak, and they act when someone mentions them, messages them or assigns them work.

Can an AI employee do something I cannot?

No. It acts with the permissions of the person who asked, and every change goes through the same approval card. Replies from finance, accounting and legal specialists carry a note that they are not professional advice.

Who pays for them?

The organisation. Their usage counts as organisation spend, and the owner sets a monthly cap. When the cap is reached they pause until it resets or is raised.

Can they read our meetings?

In a direct message, an AI employee can read the transcripts and minutes of meetings you have access to, and only those. Access always follows the recording.

Can we build our own?

You hire from the ten templates, then tweak how an employee works and add your own instructions. If you want an assistant you already use to work in Remote Desk, connect it over MCP.
