Files, charts and languages

Ask for the file. Get the file.

The AI workspace makes the document you asked for, not a block of text to paste. Reports, spreadsheets and Word files appear under the reply with a preview, charts show up in the chat and inside the files, and the numbers are calculated rather than guessed.

Real files

Eight kinds of file, kept and revisable

Ask for Markdown, plain text, code, JSON, CSV, an Excel workbook, a PDF or a Word document and it arrives as a card with a preview and a download. Ask for a change and the file keeps its earlier versions, so you can step back. Save it to Drive or turn it into a Docs page when it is ready.

  • Markdown, text, code, JSON, CSV, Excel, PDF and Word
  • Versions kept as you revise a file
  • Save to Drive or turn a file into a Docs page

Charts

A chart in the reply, and in the document

Ask for a chart and it appears in the chat as an interactive one: bar, line, area, pie, scatter or stacked. Switch to the data table behind it, download it as a PNG or copy the data as CSV. When you ask for a PDF or Word file, the charts go inside it too.

  • Bar, line, area, pie, scatter and stacked charts
  • A data table, PNG download and CSV copy on every chart
  • Charts carried into generated PDF and Word files

Exact numbers

Totals come from a calculation, not a guess

Attach a CSV or an Excel file and the sums, averages and counts are computed exactly on the server from your data. Models are good with words and unreliable with arithmetic, so the arithmetic does not go through the model.

  • Attach CSV and Excel files to ask about them
  • Calculated on the server, not estimated by the model

Many scripts

Files in the language your team writes in

Generated files handle right-to-left scripts such as Arabic, Persian, Urdu and Hebrew, Indic and Southeast Asian scripts, Chinese, Japanese and Korean, and emoji, with real bold in PDFs. A content-language setting for each person, with an organisation default, decides which language files are written in.

  • Right-to-left, Indic, Southeast Asian and CJK scripts
  • A content language per person, with an organisation default
  • Real bold text in generated PDFs

FAQ

Questions about AI files and charts

Something else on your mind? Write to hello@thehivez.com.

Which files can it create?

Markdown, plain text, code, JSON and CSV, plus Excel workbooks, PDFs and Word documents. Each appears as a card under the reply with a preview and a download.

What happens when I ask for a change?

The file is revised and keeps its earlier versions, so you can compare or go back. Save it to Drive or turn it into a Docs page once it is right.

Are the numbers in a spreadsheet reliable?

When you attach a CSV or Excel file, the totals and other figures are calculated exactly on the server from that data. Check anything the AI wrote from memory the way you would check any draft.

Which charts are available?

Bar, line, area, pie, scatter and stacked charts in the chat, each with a data table, a PNG download and a CSV copy. Charts also appear inside generated PDF and Word files.

Does it work in my language?

Generated files support right-to-left scripts (Arabic, Persian, Urdu and Hebrew), Indic and Southeast Asian scripts, Chinese, Japanese and Korean, and emoji. Each person sets a content language, and the organisation sets a default.

What happens to the files if I delete the chat?

Files that were filed in your Drive are kept when you delete the chat.

Stop pasting from a chat box

Ask for the report, the sheet or the brief, and open it as a file.
